Fellow American Society of Appraisers
Not only is Sheryl an accredited Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers specializing in Antiques, Decorative Arts and Residential Contents, but she has the added recognition of having been elected to the College of Fellows for ASA, the highest honor awarded any member. She is the only Personal Property Fellow in California.
Actively involved with ASA since 1987, Sheryl has served as an elected member of ASA’s Personal Property Committee, Board of Governors, Board of Examiners and Strategic Planning Task Force. She has also taught the Appraisal Certification Program at the University of California Irvine.
A second-generation appraiser, Sheryl is the granddaughter of John Gillett, a noted Southern California appraiser. She attended Occidental College and the London Study Centre at the Victoria and Albert Museum before opening a practice with Stephen Caudana in 1983.
