Stephen is an Accredited Senior Member of the American Society of Appraisers, specializing in Antiques, Decorative Arts and Residential Contents.  A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and the London Study Centre for the Decorative Arts, he served as Parliamentarian and Co-Chair of the Board of Examiners for ASA’s International Personal Property Committee.

Stephen has also contributed to ASA’s primary textbook, The Appraisal of Personal Property and taught the Appraisal Studies Certification Program at University of California Irvine, Extension.

A recognized expert witness in the Superior Courts of Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura Counties, Stephen draws upon decades of experience in complex valuation cases to help resolve disputes arising from divorce, damage & loss and insurance claims.
